Sailing on with the spirit of exploring the OFM seas, we’re opening a brand-new section of the blog dedicated to interviews with key voices in the scene. Behind every Telegram Group, YouTube channel, or X handle, there’s a personal story to tell — sometimes close to your own, sometimes very different, but always real. Each one shows the path they’ve taken, the challenges they faced, and the mindset that carried them to where they are today.
So we set sail with our new blog section: OFM Sails & Sales, where every guest tells us how they’ve caught the winds and steered their journey toward the treasure they were chasing.
For this very first chapter, we pull up a chair on deck, pour ourselves a mug of grog, and share stories with Vic, the captain behind VGT – MODELS MARKETPLACE OFM (Telegram: T.me/vgtmodels).

Welcome Vic! Thrilled to have you in our Secret Stash. Thanks for hopping on board.

Thank you for this interview and for taking the time to welcome me on your blog.

Tell us about yourself—where you’re from, and how old you ar

So, my name is Vic. I am 25 from Belgium.

Can you walk us through how you first got into OFM and what drew you to this market?

I’ve been in OFM in general since 2023. Before that, I had a background in marketing for over a decade. I’ve done a bit of everything, mostly e-commerce. And I think it’s that background that allowed me to adapt quite quickly to OFM, because through my past experience I learned the fundamentals of building businesses.
Of course, this is quite a particular industry, but at the end of the day, business is business. The main thing I’ve really learned is the importance of adaptability. And of course, that’s nothing new — it’s simply Darwin’s law: those who survive are the ones who adapt the best. Because of that, it didn’t take me long to adjust to the mechanics of this business and start thriving myself.
A business like this isn’t something you get into by accident. If you enter it, of course, it’s for a common reason: the belief in the prosperity of this business. I think the very first time I became interested in it was after watching a TikTok video. I couldn’t tell you anymore who that person was, but it was a TikTok — and as we all know, once you watch one, the algorithm keeps feeding you more of the same. Little by little, my interest grew.
At first, I thought I’d build a career as a chatter. But after I started chatting, I quickly realized I was generating for a start interesting numbers — €500, even €800 a day in sales. That’s when I asked myself: what if I were the one running things, with chatters as effective as I was? And that’s where the idea of creating my own agency came from.

Before entering OFM, what were you doing professionally, and what led you to make the switch?

Well, before all this, I had already experienced some success in the e-commerce field. But very quickly, it started to feel unappealing to me, simply because it wasn’t a domain that truly spoke to me. And once again, for profitability reasons — it’s no secret — in e-commerce you can generally expect margins of around 10 to 15%, and in some exceptional cases maybe up to 30%.
Of course, like in any business, you’re taxed on top of that. But the point is, those 10–15% margins are actually even smaller than they seem in reality. Just imagine making €1 million in revenue, only to be left with €100,000, which then still needs to be taxed. It’s a bit disheartening.
“OFM industry (…) sits at the very heart of the digital world. And we all know, more than ever before, that digital is constantly evolving. Since we are right at the core of it, we can only be lifted by this wave of evolution, allowing us to grow even further.”
Vic from VGT Marketplace

Looking back at when you first started, what was the toughest challenge you had to overcome, and how did it shape your approach today?

The biggest challenge I faced when starting out — and it’s still a challenge today — I clearly remember when I first began, TikTok was still the number one traffic source. TikTok is still very interesting, but at that time it was truly phenomenal. Unfortunately, I arrived right at the end of that golden era.
I remember buying nearly 10 phones, 10 iPhones, because I wanted to set up a strategy that would allow me to automate everything with the right tools. But just as I was about to launch, TikTok’s algorithm changed, and it no longer allowed me to run the strategy I had planned. That was a huge blow.
Imagine stepping into a new field, making the decision to invest, and in the end, realizing all that investment led nowhere. If there’s one lesson I took from that experience, it’s perseverance. And that’s why I say it’s still relevant today: algorithms keep changing, methods keep evolving, and without perseverance, I wouldn’t be where I am now.

What’s the biggest mistake you’ve made in this business, and what lessons did you learn from it?

The biggest mistake I made at the beginning… was signing certain contracts at rates that were a bit too high. I had this urge to get started quickly — no matter the cost. So, I don’t really regret it, because it allowed me to discover, to learn, and to get to where I am today.
In fact, I’m still working with those same people. And when I look at the current market, the percentages I agreed to back then are actually higher than what’s standard today. But I don’t complain about it — on the contrary, I’m very happy. For me, that was simply the price to pay to reach the point where I am now.
It gives me great satisfaction to continue collaborating with those same people, and to keep growing together — out of respect. Respect for the fact that they trusted me at a time when I wasn’t generating any revenue at all in this industry.

Vic, can you share more about VGT Marketplace and how you came to create it?

To this day, I’ve grown in my career. I don’t just run an agency anymore — I also have a marketplace. Now, the story behind this marketplace is not a coincidence. It was born out of a promise, a belief, and a will.
When I first started — like anyone at the very beginning — the very first question I asked myself was: how do I find a model? And very quickly, you realize it’s not easy at all. It can take an enormous amount of time just to find a model, without even being sure that she’s truly motivated to start in this industry. I learned that the hard way, struggling day and night.
So I turned to a marketplace, which at the time was simply a Telegram channel where you could find models and purchase a contract to collaborate with them. You could see models of all types, from different backgrounds, different ages. I remember spotting one I found very interesting.
However, the experience was terrible — a complete disaster. To put it simply, I never got to collaborate with that model. The marketplace never replied to me after I paid. They simply took my money and left me hanging. The sense of injustice I felt was overwhelming. I kept asking myself: how is it possible to do something so dirty?
I was used to facing obstacles, but this time I thought: surely, I’m not the only one who has gone through this kind of experience. And that means it must have been a huge roadblock for many people who just wanted to get started, who maybe ended up believing that this industry wasn’t really prosperous — when in reality, it was just a matter of dishonest individuals, like in any other field.
As a result, after laying the foundations of my agency and expanding with multiple models, I decided to launch a marketplace that would allow people who want to get started — or who are already starting out — to find models and scale their business with them. But not just a simple marketplace. And I say this with complete humility: it’s not just another marketplace. What we want to bring here is innovation, at the very core of the platform.
I quickly realized through my own experience, and especially from feedback I received, that most marketplaces today add no real value when it comes to recruitment. The only thing they usually do is hand over a model’s number to the buyer after the contract is purchased. That’s it. So we decided to do things differently.
And that starts with offering highly qualified models. These aren’t just fancy words — let me be clear. Every single model, without exception, who is proposed on our marketplace must first go through several rigorous tests. And I’m not talking about one or two — there are more than three. These include written tests where we evaluate their engagement, their drive, their motivation, and their potential commitment.
Only after passing all these tests can they move to the next stage: an interview with us. And even after succeeding there, they still undergo one final interview. In total, there are more than five different steps before a model is approved and listed in our marketplace.
So we don’t just propose any model — only those we believe are truly motivated. Of course, sometimes it happens that even after being selected, certain models show less motivation than expected. That’s why we want to fill every gap, every flaw, and deliver the most qualitative service possible.
For this reason, we offer an exceptional guarantee: if anything goes wrong — and I mean anything — the person is simply refunded. Because for us, the core value should never be forgotten: ensuring that people have the best possible experience, so they can launch themselves as effectively as possible.

Thinking about newcomers to OFM, what’s the most valuable piece of advice you’d share with someone just starting out?

So, the best advice I can give is probably this: don’t rush when choosing a model. That was the mistake I made at the very beginning — signing a contract that was a bit too high just because I wanted to get started quickly.
For me, the key is to take your time and gather the right information. That’s exactly why today we support everyone who wants to acquire a model through our VGT marketplace. People can freely ask us any questions they have — we’re available 24/7, whether by message or by phone.

What was your perception of the industry when you first started, and how do you see it today?

My vision hasn’t really changed from the beginning to now. For me, this industry has been — and continues to be — one of the most interesting because it sits at the very heart of the digital world. And we all know, more than ever before, that digital is constantly evolving. Since we are right at the core of it, we can only be lifted by this wave of evolution, allowing us to grow even further. And the numbers speak for themselves: when you look at the statistics, every year is more incredible than the last in this field.

What impact is AI having on the industry, and where do you see it heading?

In my view, AI has a very positive impact on the market, and for a simple reason. Today, AI is already changing the world — it has already begun — but we can’t even fully grasp yet just how much it will transform things in the years to come. One thing is certain though: everything will change. Absolutely everything. There is nothing that won’t be impacted by AI, especially in the digital space. Many jobs will disappear — it’s already happening.
But why is this not a problem for this industry? Because in most other fields, people don’t really care whether a task is done by a human or by AI. For example, if you want an article written, it doesn’t matter whether it’s produced by a human or an AI, as long as the result is good. And that applies to almost any other sector.
Here, however, I can say from experience: when subscribers interact with a model, what they really want is to talk to a real person, a human being. Yes, sometimes there are exceptions — people who don’t care — but in general, that’s exactly what makes a subscriber stay loyal and ultimately spend on content: the belief that they’re speaking with someone real, and beyond that, that the relationship itself feels real.
So the question becomes: why then is AI still innovative in this space? Because AI can only help us through tools that allow us to do more — without replacing us. We have AI tools to improve traffic, we have AI tools to automate parts of chatting, but the core of it all — the human connection — cannot be replaced.

If you were the CEO of OnlyFans for a day, what’s the first thing you’d change?

I think I would probably ease the regulations, because I find them a bit too restrictive. And we can see this in various studies: being overly restrictive often produces results that are the opposite of what you actually want to achieve. It’s paradoxical, but true. That’s one of the reasons why so many social media platforms have changed the way they operate. For example, X (formerly Twitter) has adopted a more open stance, and Meta has ultimately done the same. Although with Meta, to be fair, we can still question some of their approaches, given the way restrictions are applied. But that’s another story.

If you could choose two people in the industry for us to interview next, who would they be?

And let’s play with a scenario — if OnlyFans disappeared tomorrow
what would be your next move?

That’s very simple. I already gave the answer at the start of this interview: Darwin’s law, remember? The idea that those who survive are the ones who adapt best. So if OnlyFans shut down, I would adapt according to the opportunities available at that moment.

My Final Thoughts
Every journey in OFM begins with a single step, though often we don’t realize it at the time. In Vic’s case, that first step was when he started studying marketing—without knowing that years later, those lessons would become the foundation of his path. A decade of experience in that field eventually carried him into e-commerce, and from there the winds shifted once more, leading him straight into OFM.
My opinion is: the winds are always blowing. What matters is learning to adjust your sails, to catch the current that takes you closer to the horizon you’re chasing. Sometimes it means enduring storms, other times it means seizing a breeze before it fades, but every adjustment brings you further along your course.
I hope Vic’s story has inspired you to keep charting your own journey. It certainly has inspired me, reminding me that every path—no matter how unexpected—can lead to new harbors, new treasures, and new horizons if we dare to keep sailing.
