I came across a solid argument in an OFM Telegram group

On Telegram I got a really good argument: “You’re putting a lot of resources into recruiting models without seeing any ROI yet. The reality is that being able to recruit models means nothing if you don’t have experience in driving traffic to them or chatting effectively.

You mentioned wanting to pick the model you believe is best, but by doing your own recruitment, you’re limiting your pool compared to what you could find in marketplaces. There’s really no extra negotiating power from having more models since they often don’t care, and you can already negotiate good salaries and percentages on marketplaces.

You also said you don’t want to buy a model because you’d have to structure your agency around her, but that’s exactly what you should be doing when starting out. Having more models only divides your attention and makes it harder to grow. Plus, if you don’t like them later on, you can always resell them for more after growing them a bit.

Honestly, it feels like you’re just trying to reinvent the wheel for no clear reason. And one more thing, I wouldn’t suggest faking your earnings with models—your lack of experience will quickly become obvious when they don’t see the results they were promised or expected.”

I’m going to think about that. Nothing prevents me from setting up the recruitment system and if I see that in a while no model that I like appears, just go buy one in the market to start working in parallel. Fortunately I have some experience generating traffic for models in OF, so that’s an issue to solve but it doesn’t keep me awake at night (fingers crossed!).

The part about ROI is what caught my attention the most. It’s true that I’ve been focused solely on moving forward without considering how to move forward responsibly, and a big part of that is calculating ROI for every action. It definitely got me thinking, and I realize I need to reflect more on that point.
